Dunmow Rovers Youth Football Club has teams consisting of Mini Soccer, starting from under 6 to under 10’s. Junior from under 11 to under 18’s. We encourage and welcome football for children of all ages and abilities.

Football is a great way to make new friends, exercise, learn to work as a team and basically have fun. We are always looking for new players, coaches and volunteers who want to get involved in a very successful football club which has been providing football in the community since 1976.
All of the club’s teams play in the Blackwater & Dengie Youth League in Essex.
Our Under 7 and 8’s play in a 5v5 format whilst the U9 and U10 age groups play in a 7v7 format. These are small sided non competitive games against other age related teams from the Blackwater and Dengie league with the emphasis on having more ball time, how to play the game, learning fundamental football skills, and most importantly having fun.
At the U11 & U12’s age groups level the teams play a 9-a-side format. The game is aimed at representing their growth from U10’s and younger, but with an outlook of making sure the game, pitch & goals are relative to their size. From U13’s upwards the teams go into the full 11-a-side format.

Fun coaching sessions
for Reception and Year 1 at Helena Romanes School, Great Dunmow
We deliver coaching sessions on Saturday mornings known as “Mini Strikers” for children aged between 4 and 6 years of age.
Mini Strikers was formed in November 2011, offering special FA qualified coaching to introduce children into learning the FUNdamentals of football while having fun, meeting new friends.
There is no obligation to join just bring your child along and see if they enjoy it, if so, bring them along each week during the season and hopefully their football journey begins with “The Rovers”.
Training will start on Saturday September 16th at Helena Romanes School, Great Dunmow.
All our coaches are FA Qualified Level 1 to UEFA B | FA First Aiders

Dunmow Rovers Football Club is based at The Recreation Ground in the centre of Dunmow, we also have other local football facilities in Little Dunmow and Great Sailing to accommodate all of our teams.
